Lissanoure Castle Wedding – Emma And Stephen

It is always lovely when someone comes to see you about their wedding and you realise that you actually know them through other interests. That is what happened at a wedding fair when Emma approached me to ask about albums etc . We both took a bit of a second look at and proceeded to work out how it was we recognised each other.

I was even more thrilled when later Emma and Stephen called to confirm their wedding booking. Sometimes you get a wedding where everything just falls into place and it seems that it is destined to be a great event.

We had decided to do a pre-wedding shoot just to get some lovely fun and casual shots before the big day and at the same time this allowed us to get to know what type of pictures would be required, and also for me to gauge just how far I could ask Emma and Stephen to go i terms of poses etc.

It was a beautiful evening when I arrived at Emmas parents house and I have to say that their gardens are simply stunning. So good in fact that i might ask to use them again for another wedding to two. So we went down the garden  among the fruit trees and to the little ‘folly’ which dad had built as his own little escape.

I really enjoyed this brief shoot and it only filled me with anticipation about what was to come on the actual wedding day.
The venue for the wedding was St Saviours Parish Church in Conor and then this was followed by a reception at Lissanoure Castle. St Saviours is a very old church with blackstone walls and absolutely full of character. Thankfully the weather held up on the day and we managed to get some lovely shots. Emma and Stephen have received their proof book of images and are now deciding on the ones they would like to include in their album.
