Rachael and Michael’s RoePark Wedding
Due to all the various restrictions the planning for this wedding was all done online. So I never actually got to meet either Rachael or Michael in person prior to the date .
However it was a beautiful day at the end of June and I left home for the drive to Limavady. I had a quick stop en-route for a bit of breakfast to sustain me for the day and still arrived very early. However that is not at all unusual for me. I would much rather be far too early and have to wait around a wee while as be rushing. Arriving early allows me time to relax and check out the location in case there are any changes since my last visit.
I was able to take a few shots and then went upstairs where Rachael and the ladies were getting ready. In another part of the hotel the men were also getting sorted.
So the hour of the ceremony was fast approaching and part of my job is always to try and keep things moving to schedule. With Michael and the guys all now looking sharp it was time to get a few pictures of them all outside.
Then it was back upstairs and everyone was just about ready for the ceremony and the grand entrance of the bride and all her ladies . Followed by the ceremony and the new Mr and Mrs Shaw.
The day was really flowing well with great weather. So we had planned to go to the nearby Roe Country Park for some pictures of the wedding party. Roe country park is a beautiful place with some wonderful buildings and places with super backgrounds
Withe speeches all done it was time for a well earned rest and some food. Then the evening reception and the first dance .
Huge thanks to Rachael and Michael for allowing me to be part of their big day. To the staff at Roe Park who were so friendly and efficient. Also to the ever helpful and professional Derek Ewing who was the MC for the day, Derek kept things moving along with his usual grace and good humour.
